Join Staff Sargent Andrew Lee the “Combat Quilter” for a discussion on quilting and his connection to military service. Lee is a 20-year veteran and through his work with Quilts of Valor has completed more than 100 quilts for other members of service. “It never ceases to amaze me of the emotion I see during a presentation; even those in the audience are affected,” says Lee. This program is open to the public and hosted in part by the University of Mississippi Museum and Mississippi Arts Commission as part of the 12th annual Oxford Fiber Festival.
